About the Job

The Therapist in Schools will work directly with children and young people who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. This may involve one-to-one therapy sessions, group work, or supporting teachers and other staff members to promote positive wellbeing in the classroom.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and delivering evidence-based interventions in educational settings, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and carers. They will also be involved in conducting risk assessments and identifying the right level of support for each child.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse groups. A teaching qualification and experience of working with children and young people are essential requirements for this position.

Competitive salary: £42,615 - £60,955 per annum.
