Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday


This primary school in Tamworth is looking for a skilled and empathetic education support professional to help meet the needs of its year 1 pupils. As part of the teaching team, you'll be working closely with students to provide tailored support and guidance, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include delivering small group lessons, collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create effective intervention plans, and developing strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering Small Group Lessons: Provide targeted support to year 1 students in small groups, using tailored approaches to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborating with Professionals: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other specialists to design and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Building Relationships: Foster strong, supportive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, helping to create a positive and inclusive school community.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children aged 5-11
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues

Salary: £22,500 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
