Job Summary

Compass Associates is seeking a seasoned and supportive Home Manager to drive the potential of a lovely care home located in a desirable area. As a key member of our client's team, you will be responsible for budgeting, successfully marketing the home, and holding a key attention to detail when it comes to improving care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of staff to achieve excellent resident care and promote a positive work environment
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve occupancy rates and drive business growth
  • Collaborate with the operations director to achieve business objectives and improve care standards
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including residents, families, and external partners

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing a nursing care home or similar setting
  • Strong understanding of CQC framework and electronic care planning
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and external partners
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
