Lorien's leading banking client is seeking an experienced Risk and Controls Specialist to join the existing team on an initial 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and quantify technology risks for the Technology Service Operations organisation.
- Coordinate and report on mitigating activities to ensure operational resilience.
- Collaborate with technology teams, project managers, 2nd Line Risk, and IT leadership to drive business outcomes.
- Provide strong analysis and data-driven insight to contribute to an operational resilience programme.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and methods.
- Experience in operational resilience and quantitative analysis techniques.
- Strong experience in Information Technology in the UK financial services industry.
- A good understanding of technology risk management as a business enabler.
- Qualifications in IT and in Risk are preferred but not essential.
