About Your New Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solicitor / Associate to join our Property Damage team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will support our clients in navigating complex property damage claims, providing expert advice on policy coverage and subrogated recoveries.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist partners and senior lawyers with caseloads, providing proactive management of cases with supervision
  • Prepare detailed and technical reports, correspondence, and court documents
  • Advise clients on issues of liability and coverage, ensuring compliance with client service level agreements and relevant policies
  • Liaise with insurer and insured clients, experts, witnesses, counsel, and other parties
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of our Property Damage team

About You

  • 2-6 years' PQE or equivalent experience in insurance litigation and policy coverage analysis
  • Proven experience in property damage claims, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance policies and the insurance market
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing and managing a caseload to deliver effective solutions
  • Strong legal and analytical skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
