About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Systems Engineer to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality power system analysis, modelling, and data analysis services to our clients.

As a Power Systems Engineer, you will work closely with our clients to understand their power system needs and develop innovative solutions to meet those needs. You will be responsible for conducting power system analysis, modelling, and data analysis, as well as delivering results and reports to our clients.

You will also be responsible for collaborating with our multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure a holistic approach to power system planning and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct power system analysis, including load flow, short circuit, harmonic analysis, dynamic and transient stability, and protection studies
  • Develop and maintain power system models using DigSilent and ETAP
  • Analyse and interpret simulation and test data using industry-standard tools
  • Deliver high-quality results and reports to our clients
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to power system planning and design
Requirements
  • Electrical engineering degree (minimum BSc/BEng; MSc/MEng or PhD in power systems will be advantageous)
  • Proficiency in DigSilent, ETAP, and other power simulation software packages
  • Team player and willingness to support others
  • Commercial awareness and ability to generate business through existing and new workstreams
  • High level of IT literacy and numeracy skills
