About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Relief Support Worker to join our team in Totnes. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals in their daily lives, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement support plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support individuals to access community resources and activities, promoting social inclusion and participation.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns.
Requirements
  • Passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and colleagues.
  • Basic IT skills and numerical ability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Ability to travel between locations as required, with a valid driving license (desirable).
