About the Role:

Poundstretcher Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-volume retail store, driving sales growth, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience: Deliver an exceptional shopping experience for customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Sales Performance: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve store objectives and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all company standards are implemented and maintained, including health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in a retail environment.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of commercial principles, including sales growth, profitability, and cost control.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement effective strategies.
