Job Summary

The Residential Day Concierge is a key member of the Savills Management Resources team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional presence at the front reception desk. This role requires a high level of autonomy, flexibility, and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering a five-star experience to all personnel, visitors, and tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front of House Operations
    • Ensure the reception area is clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times, maintaining a high standard of presentation.
    • Manage on-site booking requirements for key access areas, including administration of residents' keys and visitor records.
    • Handle and administer parcels and packages, ensuring timely delivery and returns.
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all personnel, visitors, and tenants, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
    • Utilize residential management systems to ensure smooth resident communications and notifications, including service disruptions and local events.
  • Administrative and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of visitor logs, parcel deliveries, and other relevant information.
    • Complete log reports as required by the employer or building manager.
  • Health and Safety and Security
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire precautions and contractor management.
    • Report any security breaches to the on-site security team and police, as necessary.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility
    • Work collaboratively with other staff members, residents, and visitors to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
    • Be flexible and adaptable in response to changing circumstances and priorities.

Requirements

  • Experience and Skills
    • Demonstrable experience in front of house concierge and customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
    • Confident and articulate communication skills, both orally and in writing.
    • Able to work with autonomy and as part of a wider team.
    • Efficient in maintaining administration and record-keeping electronically.
  • Knowledge and Qualifications
    • Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
    • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing and managing time effectively.
    • Excellent IT skills and social-media awareness.

Working Hours and Salary

Working hours: 12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off, with a 38.5-hour average workweek.

Salary: £30,000
