Dementia Care Specialist

HC-One is committed to delivering exceptional care to individuals living with dementia. As a Dementia Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred care to residents with dementia, focusing on their individual needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with care teams to develop and implement tailored care plans, incorporating cognitive stimulation and sensory activities
  • Provide education and support to colleagues on best practices in dementia care
Requirements
  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience in dementia care roles, ideally with a focus on person-centred approaches
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
  • Hourly rate: £11.25 - £13.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
