Cranleigh Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Director to lead our quality function and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to contribute to innovative research and development in a growing start-up.

The Role

As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive quality frameworks, ensuring adherence to SOPs and best practices across the site, and defining strategies for the long-term growth of QA and QC functions. The position includes management responsibilities, such as leading and mentoring the quality team, identifying and executing process improvements, and preparing and presenting reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing quality management systems aligned with industry standards
  • Leading and mentoring the quality team
  • Identifying and executing process improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Preparing and presenting reports
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc/MSc/PhD in biochemistry, chemistry, or related field
  • Previous experience in a QA/QC leadership role
  • Experience leading customer or regulatory audits
  • Proven track record in managing and implementing quality management systems
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $57,000 per annum, plus benefits including bonus, 25 days holiday + Banks, private health (Vitality), competitive pension, company events, and catered facilities.
