Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Functional Assessor to join our team in Ashford, United Kingdom. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing individuals applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit or a Work Capability Assessment (WCA). You will hold consultations and write comprehensive reports using a specialized IT system.


Key Responsibilities
  • Holding telephone, video, or in-person consultations with applicants.
  • Assessing complex conditions and impairments.
  • Writing high-quality assessment reports using a specific IT system.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 12 months post-registration experience working as a Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist. You must also hold full registration with one of the following professional bodies: Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
