Community Health Physician

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Health Physician to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional with expertise in community paediatrics to contribute to the care of children and young people in our region.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in all aspects of community paediatrics, including child development, ASD, ADHD, neurodisability, Children Looked After, and children with special educational needs. They will be able to provide high-quality medical advice and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
The salary for this role is £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing expert medical advice and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Critically assessing own learning needs and ensuring a personal development plan reflects both clinical practice and relevant generic capabilities
- Practicing with professional values and behaviours expected of all doctors
- Taking prompt action where there is an issue with the safety or quality of patient care
