Main Responsibilities

As a Clinical/Health/Counselling Psychologist or Senior Psych Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating with the ward manager to maintain the highest standards of care. You will also play a key role in developing and nurturing our staff, ensuring that our nursing care remains compassionate and empathetic.

You will support the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse or Matron in delivering outstanding care with compassion to our patients, their relatives, and visitors. Your dedication will help ensure that our ward, department, service, or team continues to provide exemplary care.

Your commitment to excellence will ensure a high standard of nursing is delivered by yourself and your colleagues. You will focus on comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care to meet patients' needs, all in accordance with local and National standards and evidence-based guidelines.

  • Leadership experience and learning
  • Awareness of recent advances within Nursing practice
  • Knowledge of Clinical Governance and safeguarding and the relevance to practice
