Fire Engineer - Liverpool

We are seeking an experienced Fire Engineer to join our team. As a Fire Engineer, you will be involved at the design stage of projects to specify the requirements of the construction with regard to fire safety.

You will visit construction sites on a fortnightly basis to check that the construction is going to plan with regard to the agreed design.

">

As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to liaise with a wider team of highly skilled fire consultants with specialisms that incorporate a diverse range of fields.

">

You will work closely with colleagues across all offices and support fire engineers at all levels on projects.

">

Main responsibilities as Fire Engineer:

  • Manage own projects and assume responsibility for setting and meeting deadlines and keeping track of own financial performance and budgets.">
  • Develop fire strategy designs utilizing a mixture of code compliance and performance-based approaches within a wide range of sectors such as residential, commercial, heritage, sports grounds, healthcare, etc.">
  • Keep up to date with new technologies and innovations in fire engineering and brief the team where relevant.">
  • Continually advance your knowledge and skills in the application of fire engineering principles and relevant legislation through continual professional development.">
  • Attend and make a positive contribution to meetings, both internally and externally, and help us to continually improve.">

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £50,000-£60,000 per year, depending on experience.
