Advanced Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS East team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with young people, carers, and professionals to provide high-quality mental health care.
Key Responsibilities- Consultation and advice to young people, carers, and professionals
- Providing training and education to carers and professionals
- Clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions for young people
- Joint working with partner agencies, including Mental Health Support Teams and Early Help
- Use of routine outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant post-qualifying experience of working with young people with mental health difficulties
- Knowledge and skill to assess acute mental health crisis and deliberate self-harm
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, carers, and professionals
- Competent IT skills and ability to navigate various systems and software packages
