We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practice Nurse to join our team at The Family Practice. As a Clinical Practice Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for leading the Treatment Room team in meeting our objectives by maintaining clinical nursing standards, supervising and developing the team to their full potential, and providing a nursing service focused on long-term care to our patient population.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the efficient running of the treatment room, ensuring high standards of care.
- Lead, manage, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Be creative in developing and implementing new initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Provide expert clinical care and advice in diabetes management and contraceptive services.
- Support and mentor team members, encouraging their growth and development in their roles.
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Experience in diabetes management as desirable and ideally contraceptive skills and an openness to developing these skills further.
- Proven leadership and management experience within a healthcare setting as desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for developing others and driving innovation in patient care.
- A supportive and friendly working environment.

- Experience of operating within general practice.
- Full understanding of QOF.
- Confident IT user.

- Ability to keep oneself up to date.
- Knowledge of read-coding.
- Understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work as part of an integrated multi-skilled team.
- Pleasant and articulate.

- Appropriate DBS status.
