Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced shift engineer to join our team at a leading food manufacturer in Enfield, North London.

Main Duties:
  1. Conduct electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair on high-speed food production lines, packaging machinery, automation systems, and associated equipment.
  2. Diagnose PLC electrical faults.
  3. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and undertake project work.
  4. Ensure accurate upkeep of engineering technical documentation.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 as a qualified engineer.
  • Proven ability to resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing advantageous.
  • Flexible approach to shift work required.
