Computerworld Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering function in London.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

This position offers ongoing training and development opportunities for staff, as well as continuous investment into the facility. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for reactive and proactive engineering at a 24/7 production site, ensuring minimum downtime.

  • Electrical and Mechanical Predictive Maintenance (PPM's), Reactive & Breakdown maintenance
  • Working within a skilled team
  • Reporting into the Maintenance Manager
  • Maintenance of automated pack lines, plastic injection moulding machines, and associated ancillary equipment
  • Contributing to kaizen projects working cross-functionally
  • Machine installations

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Packaging, FMCG, Food or Plastic manufacturing, with a clear understanding of PM schedules. They should also possess fault-finding ability both electrically and mechanically, as well as knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC's, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
