The Opportunity
As a Social Worker Degree Apprentice, you'll embark on a transformative journey that combines academic learning with real-world experience. Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include participating in rotational placements, engaging in coursework, and completing a BSc Hons Degree in Social Work. You'll work closely with your designated workplace mentor to ensure you meet the necessary standards and requirements. Throughout the programme, you'll develop a strong understanding of social work principles and practices, preparing you for a successful career as a qualified Social Worker.

Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must hold a minimum qualification in GCSE/Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths at grade C or 4 and above. You'll also need to be employed by South Gloucestershire Council for a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a permanent contract of employment and successful completion of your probationary period. Additionally, you must have a valid right to work in England for the entire duration of the apprenticeship.
