Sales Manager Job Description

At u&i Search, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team and drive commercial growth across our brand division. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our business strategy and expanding our presence across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Success: Lead the growth of sales across the brand division, including key accounts, wholesale, B2B, and B2C channels.
  • Product Launch and Development: Create and execute a successful go-to-market strategy for seasonal product ranges and new product developments, across the UK and overseas.
  • Agent Network Management: Support and engage our 7 agent partners, keeping them informed and motivated to deliver against KPIs.
  • Customer Account Management: Proactively manage key accounts and concessions to drive commercial sales and build customer retention and new acquisitions.
  • Ecommerce Management: Oversee and optimize ecommerce platforms and websites to build consumer awareness and drive sales.
  • Customer Service: Elevate all aspects of customer service to support our independent retail partners and key accounts.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of sales support coordinators, identifying opportunities for growth and driving sales.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Accurately forecast annual financial opportunities and identify investment and capabilities required.
  • Performance Tracking and Analysis: Closely monitor performance, analyze trends, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Range Development Insights: Provide commercial insights to shape seasonal range strategy and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Contribute to marketing plans and content needed to push commercial initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, with a proven track record across wholesale, retail, and digital channels.
  • Market and Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in lifestyle, fashion, premium/mid-market, menswear, or gift environments.
  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to create, develop, and execute strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to foster strong internal and customer relationships.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proven track record of analyzing financial potential and making informed decisions.
  • Financial Modelling: Advanced Excel skills and ability to build sound business cases and commercial plans.
  • Analytical Mindset: Capability to interpret and analyze data, identify risks, and provide recommendations.
  • Passion for Selling: Personal determination and drive to succeed, with a passion for products and an entrepreneurial approach.
  • People Management: Track record of leading and coaching successful teams.
