About the Role

M Moser Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Services and Technology Lead to join our team. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for leading our European Building Services and Smart Building businesses, as well as providing strategic consulting advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide day-to-day management and leadership of the internal team, responsible for the sustainable growth of the business through excellent project delivery, team development, and securing work.
  • Project Leadership: Lead internal and external project teams related to our MEP and Smart Building Technology services, including consultancy and design-build workplace projects (interior fit out).
  • Client Relationships: Develop new client relationships and expand existing relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice, excellent value, and quality service.
  • Business Development: Work with the Client Services Team to develop opportunities and support business development efforts, including responding to client RFPs for new projects, and participating in client interviews and pitch presentations.
  • Travel and Collaboration: Travel to client projects, other M Moser offices, and industry events, as required, to collaborate with our global engineering, technology, and sustainability teams.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of work experience in Building Services Engineering.
  • Education: University Degree in Building Services Engineering or related field (Electrical and Mechanical).
  • Leadership and Communication: Confident leading a team and experience mentoring junior team members, with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiar with relevant codes and standards, with experience inspecting and supervising various MEP disciplines during construction and providing solutions to overcome site problems.
  • Business Acumen: Experience responding to RFPs, developing fees for projects, and participating in client interviews, with a strong understanding of business development and client relationships.
  • Sustainability: Experience working on projects with sustainability, low carbon, or low energy goals and ambitions, with a strong commitment to reducing environmental impact.
