At Academics Ltd, we are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Academic Behaviour Support Professional to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable students aged 4-19.

The successful candidate will work with students who require additional support due to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This may include challenging behaviour, anxiety, OCD, or trauma. As a graduate in Psychology or a related field, you will be well-equipped to provide the necessary support and guidance to help these students overcome their challenges.

We offer an estimated salary of £90-110 per day, paid term-time only. Our team provides excellent on-site training, support, and CPD to ensure the safeguarding of all students. If you are passionate about helping children and young people achieve their full potential, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEMH needs
  • Developing strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
  • Caring, compassionate, and a good listener
