About the Role
Corserv is seeking an experienced Asbestos Professional to join our Asbestos Engineering Services Laboratory team in Cornwall. As an Asbestos Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering asbestos consultancy services across Cornwall and the South West, working collaboratively with the Local Authority and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct asbestos surveys and analyses in accordance with HSE guidelines and industry standards.
- Deliver high-quality reports and recommendations to clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement asbestos management plans, ensuring effective risk mitigation and client satisfaction.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients, including training and awareness programs.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Corserv's quality management system, ensuring adherence to ISO and UKAS standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in asbestos surveying and analysis, with a strong understanding of HSE guidelines and industry standards.
- BOHS Proficiency Certificate in Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos (P, P, and P) or RSPH Certificate in Asbestos Surveying.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on health and safety and client satisfaction.
