About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Professional to join our team at Cormac, a leading provider of asbestos consultancy services in the UK. As an Asbestos Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality asbestos management support to our clients across Cornwall and the South West.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct asbestos surveys and provide analytical support to clients
  • Prepare technical reports presenting the findings of surveys, investigations, and testing
  • Assist in project managing surveying and asbestos removal contracts
  • Manage the ISO 17025 & ISO 17020 UKAS accredited Quality Systems
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, delivery staff, and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in asbestos surveying and analysis
  • Hold the BOHS 'Proficiency Certificate in Building Surveys & Bulk Sampling for Asbestos' (P402, P403 & P404) or RSPH 'Certificate in Asbestos Surveying'
  • Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying protocols and procedures
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: £26,214 - £48,846 (depending on qualifications and experience)
