About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Professional to join our UKAS Accredited Asbestos Consultancy team at Cormac. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering asbestos management support to our clients across Cornwall and the South West.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct asbestos surveys and provide analytical support to clients
  • Prepare technical reports presenting the findings of surveys, investigations, and testing
  • Assist in project managing surveying and asbestos removal contracts
  • Manage the ISO 17025 & ISO 17020 UKAS accredited Quality Systems

Requirements:

  • BOHS 'Proficiency Certificate in Building Surveys & Bulk Sampling for Asbestos' (P402, P403 & P404) or RSPH 'Certificate in Asbestos Surveying'
  • Experience of conducting asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys in accordance with HSE HSG 264
  • Strong focus on health and safety with excellent client management skills
  • Good IT, report writing, and communication skills

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £26,214 - £48,846 (depending on qualifications and experience) plus relocation allowance
  • 37 hours per week (includes travel time to site) (overtime optional)
  • Permanent contract
