About the Role

The Citizens Advice Liverpool, in partnership with Citizens Advice St Helens and Citizens Advice Warrington, are delivering a comprehensive welfare benefits advisory service to Torus Housing tenants.

This role is responsible for delivering expert advice on welfare benefits, ensuring individuals and families receive the financial assistance they need. The advisor will provide support and guidance to clients, understanding their circumstances and navigating the complex welfare benefits system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver comprehensive welfare benefits advice, including support with mandatory considerations and appeals
  2. Develop a thorough understanding of welfare benefits regulations and policies
  3. Utilize excellent communication and advocacy skills to empower clients
  4. Provide multi-channel advice, including online support
  5. Collaborate with partnership organizations to ensure seamless support for Torus Foundation tenants
