Venn Group is hiring a Welfare Benefits Advisor to work in a hybrid role in Liverpool. As a Welfare Benefits Advisor, you will deliver person-centred advocacy and signpost customers to specialist support.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in their community. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer-facing role and a good understanding of welfare benefits and financial difficulties.

Key details include a competitive salary of £20 per hour (Umbrella rate), 37 hours per week, and a chance of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver interventions and specialist support to customers.
  2. Provide money management/budgeting skills and identify available financial support.
  3. Offer an advisory service to customers.

Minimum Requirements:

You will need experience in a customer-facing role and either prior experience specific to the provision of financial support or a comprehensive understanding of issues relating to financial difficulties and/or welfare benefits.
