We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Family Welfare Specialist to join our dynamic Children's Services team at PP Associates Ltd. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families.
About the RoleThis position involves assessing the needs and risks of children and families in our community, developing and implementing care plans that promote their well-being, and collaborating with various agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a compassionate approach to working with families, and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Responsibilities- Assess the needs and risks of children and families in our community, identifying areas of concern and developing strategies to address them.
- Develop and implement care plans that promote the well-being of children, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to ensure comprehensive support for children and families, coordinating services and resources as needed.
- Advocate for children's rights, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
- Provide support and guidance to families facing challenges, helping them access resources and services to improve their overall well-being.
- A qualified Social Worker (Social Work degree and registration with Social Work England).
- Experience in children's social work is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals alike.
