About the Role

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Global Senior Marketing Consultant to lead the development and execution of our global go-to-market strategy for Technology Machine Upgrades, with a focus on Project Emurge.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute the global GTM strategy for Technology Machine Upgrades, including:
  • Creating a comprehensive global Go-to-Market plan to drive awareness, transaction, and installation/upgrade.
  • Aligning and monitoring sales and adoption targets with our team and across the enterprise.
  • Gathering voice of customer and conducting market research to identify customer needs and opportunities.
  • Acting as a key expert on our solutions, able to cover technical discussions with customers and dealers.
Driving a technology distribution effort to help scale dealer technology organizations, including:
  • Defining a process and method to provide clear guidance to dealers on how to set up and scale their Construction Industries Technology organization.
  • Staying updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to adjust the GTM and distribution strategy.
Requirements
  • Degree and experience: 4-year college or university degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent progressive experience in the manufacturing or construction technology industry.
  • Global Perspective: Proven experience working on international projects.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies.
  • Vendor/Supplier Management: Strong experience in managing relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and partners.
