Job Title: Global Senior Marketing Consultant- Technology

About the Role:

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Global Senior Marketing Consultant- Technology to lead the development and execution of the global go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Technology Machine Upgrades, with a key focus on the transformative Project Emurge.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Execute GTM Strategy: Develop and execute the global GTM strategy for Technology Machine Upgrades, driving awareness, transaction, and installation/upgrade.
  2. Align and Monitor Sales Targets: Align, monitor, and drive sales and adoption targets achievement by collaborating with the team and across the enterprise.
  3. Market Research and Customer Insights: Gather voice of customer and conduct market research to identify customer needs and opportunities.
  4. Technical Expertise: Act as one of the key experts on our solutions, able to cover a good level of technical discussions with customers and dealers.

Requirements:

  • Degree and Experience: 4-year college or university degree in marketing, business, or a related field OR equivalent progressive experience in the manufacturing or construction technology industry.
  • Global Perspective: Proven experience working on international projects.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies.
  • Vendor/Supplier Management: Strong experience in managing relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and partners.
