Leaders in Care is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead their new children's residential home in Gravesend, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.

About the Role:

The Registered Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a team of staff, handling placement requests, and working under the leadership of the Responsible Individual to meet the needs of children and young people. They will also be responsible for maintaining professional boundaries, supporting the holistic needs of the children, implementing and reviewing care plans, and fostering good relationships with team members, management, and external networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a team of staff
  • Handle placement requests
  • Work under the leadership of the Responsible Individual
  • Maintain professional boundaries
  • Support the holistic needs of the children
  • Implement and review care plans
  • Foster good relationships with team members, management, and external networks
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Standards
  • Lead meetings with staff, directors, and external professionals
  • Report to the Responsible Individual
Package and Benefits:

The Registered Manager role offers a comprehensive package, including an annual salary of up to £60,000, a £2000 signing-on fee, yearly bonus, additional 5 days leave, company pension, store discounts, casual dress code, career progression opportunities, mentoring and development plan, company events, health & wellbeing programme, on-site parking, and referral programme.

Requirements:
  • Previous OFSTED children's home registration
  • Achieved at least one GOOD OFSTED inspection outcome
  • Level 5 diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Care (or working towards it)
  • Management experience in a children's residential home
  • A valid driving licence
