Care Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Care-at-Home Manager to join our team at Connect2Kent. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure running of our Children's Centre in Gravesend, Kent.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a small staff team on shift, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Implement children's service provision in accordance with Ofsted regulations.
- Develop and maintain effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication with children and professionals.
- Prioritize tasks and work independently, as part of a team, and seek support and guidance when necessary.
- Utilize computer literacy and proficiency in IT and software systems, including Liberi.
- Attend training opportunities, supervision, and team meetings to enhance practice and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Travel to meet the requirements of the service.
- Embody a commitment to equalities and the promotion of diversity in all aspects of work.
- Experience of working and caring for children or young people in a residential setting.
- Broad knowledge of processes, systems, law, and regulation impacting children in the care of the local authority.
- Awareness of issues affecting children, including CSE, gangs, and the Prevent agenda.
- Knowledge of child development and GDPR confidentiality issues.
Salary: £17.07 per hour
