About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team at our Rosyth, Dunfermline site. As a Pipe Fitter, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing, repairing, and replacing of pipe work using a variety of industry-standard materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document and report Dimension Control, Traceability, and Quality standards
  • Determine job requirements and plan/configure equipment and materials
  • Install, inspect, diagnose problems, test, repair, and maintain various pipe systems
  • Fabricate, bend, weld, and fit pipes on-site (on board ship) and perform manual handling and housekeeping tasks
  • Identify hazards, problems, defects, and the need for replacement, adjustment, or repair to ensure compliance with agreed codes, laws, working practices, and health and safety

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade
  • Demonstrable knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations
  • Able to read Engineering Drawings
  • Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
