Senior Architectural Project Lead

Our client, a renowned multi-disciplinary practice in the UK, is seeking an experienced Technical Project Architect with a strong background in stages 4-5 using Revit on large residentially-led projects to join their team. With a focus on mixed-use schemes and listed buildings, they require someone who can lead internal project teams and manage design coordination with external consultants.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years' experience working on medium to large-scale residential projects from RIBA Stages 4 – 6. They will be responsible for chairing Design Team Meetings and Workshops, leading day-to-day communication with clients and external consultants, and managing internal project teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical design and specification knowledge, as well as a good understanding of current Building Regulations and other relevant statutory standards and guidance.

Requirements
  • ARB and RIBA registered architect
  • At least 2 years of proven experience post-Part III
  • Experience in the role of Project Architect working on medium to large-scale mixed-use residential projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in chairing Design Team Meetings and Workshops
  • Experience in a client-facing role, leading day-to-day communication with clients and external consultants
  • Experience in managing internal project teams as well as managing the design coordination with external consultants
  • Strong technical design and specification knowledge
  • Good understanding of current Building Regulations and other relevant statutory standards and guidance
