About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Adult Care Tutor to deliver high-quality qualifications to learners in London and surrounding areas.
- Manage a caseload of learners, meeting OFSTED and Awarding Bodies requirements in teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Deliver and manage learning using an e-portfolio system.
- Support learners with effective advice and guidance to progress into employment, work placement, apprenticeship, or further education.
- Embed British values, prevent, safeguarding, equality, and diversity throughout the teaching process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching experience with learners aged 16+
- Experience assessing Adult Care qualifications up to level 3
- Relevant occupational competency gained from working within the care sector
- Delivering work-based training
- Teaching qualification at level 4 or above
- Assessors/Verifiers Award D32/34 / A1, TAQA, CAVA
- Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Up-to-date knowledge of Adult Care qualifications and industry developments
