Job Summary:

As a Senior Autism Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism in our residential service. You will work closely with our team to provide holistic support, including personal care, medication administration, and integration into the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to individuals with autism, promoting independent living skills and addressing anxieties through positive behavior support.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Administer medication and provide personal care as required.
  • Support individuals to engage in activities they enjoy, promoting social inclusion and community integration.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or a related condition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
