Wellbeing Worker for Young Adults Service

The Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health is a charity dedicated to supporting individuals living with or recovering from mental ill health.

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Wellbeing Worker for our innovative Young Adults Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with young people and/or young adults with complex mental health needs to develop resilience strategies and promote positive wellbeing.
  • Support young adults through the transition from Children and Young People's Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Adult Mental Health Services (AMHS).
  • Engage with young people to develop and implement evidence-based techniques to aid their ability to maintain positive wellbeing.
  • Adopt a person-centred approach, prioritizing the needs and goals of each young person.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience of working with young people, including those living with or recovering from mental ill health.
  • Experience of delivering evidence-based, early intervention, targeted support within a designated region.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide support and encouragement to clients.
  • A full driving licence and use of a car is essential for this position.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday. We advocate a positive work/life balance and provide a flexible working environment.
