As the national governing body for water polo sport in Australia, Water Polo Australia is committed to enhancing performance and sustainability across women's and men's water polo programs. This exciting opportunity has arisen for a world-class leader to inspire and deliver our National High-Performance strategy.

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive High-Performance Program strategy to drive athlete development and success.
  2. Strengthen and stabilise our elite Women's program through targeted coaching and support initiatives.
  3. Bolster our Men's program to drive development and retainment of world-class athletes and coaches.
  4. Lead and manage High-Performance Program staff and support networks to ensure effective delivery of our strategy.
  5. Monitor and review national teams' performance, including plans for pathway to podium athletes.
  6. Manage policies and their application relevant to the performance programs.
  7. Prepare and deliver reports to the WPA Board and High Performance Committee as required.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or above, with experience in the management and/or administration of HP sport programs at the national or international level. They will also possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate positive networks and partnerships.
