Biomedical Scientist Leadership Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Biomedical Scientist to join our dynamic Cellular Pathology team at King's Mill Hospital, part of Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This role offers a unique chance to contribute to the delivery of high-quality cellular pathology services, working closely with Nottingham University Hospitals and the Midlands and East 2 Pathology Network.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant theoretical and practical scientific knowledge, as well as leadership skills to guide the team towards excellence in patient care and scientific advancement.
As a key member of the department, you will participate in the development and implementation of quality management systems, engage in continuous professional development, and utilise your expertise to ensure the smooth running of laboratory services.
Job Description:
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality cellular pathology services
- Work closely with Nottingham University Hospitals and the Midlands and East 2 Pathology Network
- Develop and implement quality management systems
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc in Biological Sciences or related field
- State registration with the HCPC
- FIBMS or other accredited postgraduate qualification in Cellular Pathology
