Overview

The British Red Cross is seeking a skilled Patient Transport Specialist to join our team. This role requires a strong customer service background, a full driving license, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £12.00 per hour, 36 days annual leave (including bank holidays) + option to buy 5 extra days, up to 6% contributory pension, flexible working arrangements, and access to a range of employee benefits.

Job Description
  • Provide patient transport in a safe, comfortable, and sympathetic manner, observing road and driving conditions at all times.
  • Assist patients with different requirements based on their mobility classification.

Your warm, caring nature and positive attitude will bring comfort to patients, and your previous customer service experience will help people in your local community.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A full driving license which allows you to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Qualified to FREC3 or willingness to undergo training.
  • Strong customer service or patient caring skills.
