Job Title: Gastroenterology Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team at Waitemata District Health Board. As a Gastroenterology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our gastroenterology services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services to patients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal disorders
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of our gastroenterology services and education programs

Requirements:

  • FRACP qualification and registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Proven experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement
