Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Bicester, UK

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join EES Solutions as a Manufacturing Engineer. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development and optimization of manufacturing processes in an engineering environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Process Improvement: Review and analyze engineering designs and drawings to develop efficient manufacturing methods.

  2. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve production challenges.

  3. Tooling and Assembly: Support tooling, jigging, and assembly line setup to enhance operational efficiency.

  4. Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing processes.

  5. CAD Design: Utilize CAD tools to design and implement process improvements.

  6. Lean Manufacturing: Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives and drive continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:
  1. Proven Experience: Proven experience in an engineering environment.

  2. Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

  3. Industry Expertise: Experience in coach building or the automotive industry.

  4. Engineering Drawings: Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings.

  5. Computer Literacy: Strong computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

  6. Design Software:

    AutoCAD or Pro E: Experience with AutoCAD or Pro E design software.

  7. Teamwork: Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.

  8. Communication: Excellent communication skills.
