Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Event Day Staff - Front of House to join our team on a casual basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in our in-house concessions outlets, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
- Interact with customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain the areas of work to a high standard of cleanliness, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Take orders from clients and customers, utilizing the till system to accurately process transactions.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables and buffet stations, ensuring a seamless service.
- Cash handling and using tills, maintaining accurate records and adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Prepare rooms and surrounding areas for service, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
- Adhere to company policies and standards, including cash handling, stock management, health and safety, and food safety.
Requirements
- Hard working, punctual, and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
- Well-presented, articulate, and organized, with a friendly and approachable personality.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
- Confident in talking to new people, with a strong ability to build rapport and relationships.
- Previous experience in a customer service environment, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Able to work as part of a team and individually, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, with a willingness to work flexible hours.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
