About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Front of House team as an Event Day Staff member. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests, responding to their needs and queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Serve food and drinks to guests in our in-house concessions outlets, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Interact with customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain the areas of work to a high standard of cleanliness, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Take orders from clients and customers, utilizing the till system to accurately process transactions.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables and buffet stations, ensuring a seamless transition between events.
  • Cash handling and using tills, adhering to cash handling procedures and security protocols.
  • Prepare rooms and surrounding areas for service, ensuring a high standard of presentation and cleanliness.
  • Adhere to the policies and standards of the CBS Arena, including cash handling, stock management, health and safety, and food safety.

Requirements:

  • Hard working, punctual, and reliable, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Well-presented, articulate, and organized, with a friendly and approachable personality.
  • Good communicator, able to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Confident in communicating with new people, with a strong ability to build rapport and relationships.
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Able to work as part of a team, with a strong ability to collaborate and support colleagues.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, with flexibility to adapt to changing event schedules.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
