Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Water Engineer to join our team in Exeter.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior engineer to lead on a range of water and environmental projects, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on project management, ensuring timely delivery and quality work
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Work closely with clients, building strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Manage commissions in accordance with QMS, ensuring compliance and efficiency
  • Contract management and administrative tasks, supporting the growth of the company

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience, preferably in the water sector
  • Knowledge of EA or Water Authority projects, desirable but not essential
  • Chartership desirable, but not a requirement

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum
  • Hybrid/flexible working, up to 3 days a week remote
