Water Management Expertise

In the heart of London, Access Talent Group is seeking a seasoned professional to lead their multidisciplinary team in civil engineering and flood risk management. A Principal or Associate Civil Engineer with a strong background in drainage and flood risk is required to oversee Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) and detailed design of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS). The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering flood alleviation schemes for both public and private sector clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team of engineers and ensuring the financial performance of the group. Key responsibilities include preparing Flood Risk Assessments in Flood Zones 1, 2, and 3, undertaking conceptual and detailed design of surface water flood alleviation works, and preparing complex foul and surface water drainage strategies suitable for outline/detailed planning and s104 submission. Experience with software packages like WinDES, InfoDrainage, and Flow is also essential.

Requirements
  • A degree in civil engineering and progress towards CEng or CIWEM status.
  • Strong knowledge of flood risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of £30,000 to £34,000 per annum.
  • Two bonuses per year.
