Director for Local Delivery – West Essex
Essex County Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director for Local Delivery – West Essex to join their senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality, safe frontline children's social care services across the county.
About the Role
The Director for Local Delivery – West Essex will be responsible for:
- Leading the development and implementation of strategy in relation to key areas of practice
- Forming strong and influential relationships across the system to deliver commercially viable, integrated services
- Working in collaboration with colleagues and partners to interpret local social and economic challenges, demand, and changing demographics
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A professional qualification in social work, with current Social Work England registration
- Expert knowledge in a relevant professional area gained through significant experience
- Strong project management and commercial experience in a complex environment
