  • As an Endpoint Technology Specialist at Sopra Steria Limited, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying digital solutions to Central Government clients.
  • This role will require you to work closely with our technical specialists to deploy systems running various operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and multiple Linux distros.
  • You will also be responsible for providing Messaging and Collaboration systems and support, Application packaging and deployment, along with supporting Infrastructure and Cloud services and support.

Sopra Steria Limited designs, develops and deploys digital solutions to Central Government clients. The work we do makes a real difference to the clients goal of National Security, and we operate in a unique and privileged environment.

We are seeking an Endpoint Technology Specialist to join our team, who will be responsible for delivering an interconnected on-premises technology solution, utilizing the latest technologies.

This role will require the successful applicant to undergo UK security vetting clearance (or a willingness to apply), and accurately assess effort and cost involved with implementation.

You will be required to follow standard project processes and procedures to produce documentation to be used in proposals, evaluate hardware and software, and integration and test of new products for incorporation into program infrastructure.

This role will also require you to administer and enhance the environment and its supportability, for example: endpoint optimization, control the network access integrity, manage the data, in terms of space allocated to data, access authorizations, optimization.

Provide third line support to ensure right support, experience of leading a small technical team to complete project tasks, experience of working in a project environment, documentation skills, with the ability to produce documents for use by an end user, as well as operational procedure documentation for use by service desk personnel.
