About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Spirax Group's IT team as a Business Analyst. You will work across multiple projects at different lifecycle stages, bridging the gap between business needs and technical requirements of technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively translate complex problems into non-technical language. They will also be able to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders within cross-functional teams.

The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, plus benefits, including flexible working, comprehensive private healthcare, enhanced pension plan, life assurance, optional Share Ownership Plan participation, free onsite parking, flexible benefits, and access to a personal discounts' portal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with wider Group IT Project Management Office to support IT areas such as Cloud Infrastructure, Security, Modern Workplace, and Collaboration
  • Establish and implement elements of business analysis, including business case development, project scoping, and requirements gathering
  • Gather and analyze data to support business case creation and perform impact assessments during early project phases
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including project managers and technical architects/delivery teams, to refine requirements and deliver projects successfully
  • Provide training to users and/or trainers to facilitate knowledge transfer to BAU teams at project closure
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within IT or a related sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly
  • Familiarity with modern project delivery methodologies and ITIL Service Management principles
